Prof. Jin Zhu
University of Northern Iowa, USA

Dr. Jin Zhu earned her Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and her bachelor's and master's degrees from Southwest Jiaotong University. She currently is a Professor of Electrical Engineering Technology in the Department of Applied Engineering Technology at the University of Northern Iowa and an IEEE senior member. Her research interests lie in the area of wireless sensor networks, ambient energy harvesting, Internet of Things, and embedded systems. Dr. Zhu may be reached at jin.zhu@uni.edu.



Asst. Prof. Tao Wang

The applicant’s research focuses on smart sensors and artificial olfactory systems, including four main aspects: high-performance sensing units, sensor array optimization, pattern recognition algorithms, and hardware system integration. The applicant has accumulated 38 high-level academic papers, including 12 first-authored papers and 3 corresponding-authored papers, and has served as a guest editor of the SCI journal Sensors. The applicant has filed and granted 10 invention patents and 28 utility model patents. The applicant has an H-Index of 20, and the total number of citations of his papers exceeds 1700. The applicant has been selected for the 2022 Shanghai Super Postdoctoral Incentive Program. Currently, the applicant is presiding over the NSFC Youth Program and China Postdoctoral Science Foundation General Program.
